About the Bear Hotel

OK, it’s not really a hotel. Let us explain. The name “Bear Hotel” began as a nickname local artists gave to the Evergreen rented warehouse which produced the first three “bearfests” in Grants Pass. Later a permanent facility was built by Evergreen Federal Savings, and the name stuck. Now it is officially called the Bear Hotel Artworks Museum with meeting rooms, artist’s studios and art displays. Talented local artists create the art that is housed in the Bear Hotel. So, it’s not actually a “hotel” but it’s a great place for a meeting! We will be in the Shield room. If you have any questions about the Bear Hotel contact Teresa Caschera 541-479-3351. Address, Evergreen Savings, 2101 NE Spaulding Ave, Grants Pass, OR 97526.
