OPCA SCHOLARSHIP FUND
OPCA is proud to be able to offer a generous scholarship each year! The OPCA board approved one for $1,000 this year. Let us know if you're interested! Applications due APRIL 30. This is a firm date. Late applications will not be considered until the following year. In 2023, scholarship eligibility was expanded to include people pursuing advanced degrees (MS, Ph.D.).

Dr. Laurel Hansen Scholarship Fund WSU
Cascade Pest Control of Snohomish, WA has set up a scholarship fund in the name of Laurel Hansen who has done so much work for the pest management industry in the greater Northwest in ant courses and her work on carpenter ants. Here's the link to the scholarship/fund, Click HERE
NEW OPCA MEMBERS
According to OPCA bylaws, member applicants are published within 15 days of receiving the application. Current OPCA members then have 15 days to comment on the proposed member either in writing to the office at OPCA, PO Box 2244, Salem, OR 97308 or by email to OPCA. The Board of Directors has (30) thirty days from the time of posting to vote on new member applications. New member applications are listed below for 15 days from the time they are published.

OPCA DUES DEDUCTION POLICY
Dues to the Oregon Pest Control Association are not deductible as a charitable contribution, but may be deductible as a business expense. However, a portion of dues is not deductible to the extent that OPCA engages in industry lobbying. Active Members: The deductible portion of the OPCA dues is 88%, and the deductible portion of NPMA dues is 94%. Limited Members: The deductible portion of OPCA dues is 88%.
