OPCA Ant ID Workshop

This is a hands-on workshop in a laboratory at Chemeketa Community College in Salem. The lab is in Building 8 (room 233). Check in 8:00 am, class from 8:30 12:30 pm.

Chemeketa CC Course # XAGR9805B. ODA recertification credit has been applied for. Attendees will need to complete course application on site. Attendees will have preserved specimens, identification keys, and use of dissection microscopes. 

Dr. Laurel Hansen will guide you through the process of using a key to identify a variety of ant specimens.  The instruction manual and ant specimens will be yours to keep at the end of the workshop. 

ODA Recertification Credit: 4 Hours  

Because of the number of microscopes available, space is limited and the class will close when 24 registrations have been received.
