OPCA members are expected to operate their businesses professionally and honestly, clearly communicating pest-related risks and recommended solutions to customers. Members commit to ethical advertising, fair business practices, and accurate representation of services, avoiding exaggeration, misrepresentation, or concealment of material facts.
Compliance & Professional Responsibility
Members are responsible for staying informed about applicable laws, regulations, and proposed legislation affecting pest management in Oregon. They are expected to deliver services that align with current science, accepted industry standards, and OPCA’s Good Practice Statements, ensuring competent and responsible service.
Public Trust & Industry Integrity
OPCA members share a duty to protect the public from fraud, unethical behavior, and practices that could harm consumers or discredit the pest control profession. Members are expected to respect the reputation of other firms, engage with competitors professionally, and report unethical or illegal conduct through appropriate OPCA channels.
Commitment to the Association
