The OPCA Education Committee plays a key role in shaping the association’s technical and business programming throughout the year. Committee members help identify relevant topics, suggest speakers, and guide the development of educational sessions that support the professional growth of pest management professionals across Oregon.
This committee helps ensure OPCA’s programs reflect the real needs of our members—covering technical pest management, business development, safety, regulatory updates, and emerging industry issues. Members may also have opportunities to volunteer during in-person events by assisting with session coordination and event logistics.
Education Committee meetings are typically held via Zoom, with occasional follow-up discussions conducted through email threads. Participation offers a meaningful way to contribute ideas, collaborate with industry peers, and help shape the educational direction of OPCA.
If you are interested in supporting professional development within the industry and helping OPCA deliver valuable programming, we encourage you to get involved with the Education Committee.
